Welcome to Biology 4104 Histology Lab and Digital Microslide Archives. We use a virtual microscope software that emulates the functions of a light microscope. This computer based virtual histology lab requires a software for digital slide observation. The software we use is called NDP.view2 and is publicly available from the Hamamatsu Corporation (please see below for more information). Our high resolution scanned digital images of histological slides are archived in separate page, Digital Microslide Image Archives. Please use Firefox for this web-based archives. Other web-browsers, such as Safari or Chrome, do not perform well.
